The hotel's location is ideal as it is near many restaurants on Pontocho Alley, and right next to a train station. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is yummy!
It's possible to hear the passing of trains as they're just underneath the building.

Cute and girly hostel, friendly and helpful staff, excellent facilities and comfortable and clean rooms. Great breakfast with amazing food, and a secure location close to local attractions and restaurants. Convenient access to public transportation, making it easy to get around.
Noise from other guests can be disruptive to sleep, especially late-night activity and use of hairdryers. Limited international guests, mostly young Japanese girls.

Convenient location near main attractions and transportation. Nice and clean facilities with well-decorated rooms. However, the best aspect was the holiday decorations that created a festive atmosphere.
The breakfast was not sufficient and lacked variety. the heating in the rooms was inadequate, making it uncomfortable during the winter.
